FASTJET.COM is the first pan African low cost airline, created by the founder of EasyJet. The airline has its main base at Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania), but it will open two new bases, one in Nigeria and an another one in South Africa.

FASTJET.COM has a fleet of 3 A319s, they currently serve Mwanza, Zanzibar and Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. But from 27 September 2013, the airline will start flights to Johannesburg, followed then by the launching of flights to Rwanda and Zambia.

FastJet should have removed Kigali, citing high taxes and small market between Dar Es Salaam and Kigali
